About the Job

Are you looking for a career that allows you to be active and outside everyday? Are you passionate about the health and preservation of our urban trees and shrubs? Would you rather stay fit on the job rather
than at the gym? Do you feel accomplished when you can see the results of your work?

Then consider a career in arboriculture by becoming a Plant Health Care Technician for Altitude Arborist – Advanced Tree Care!

As a plant health care technician, you’ll help trees and shrubs thrive by supporting their health and well-being with targeted treatments. You’ll spend your days being active outside, enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather. Unlike many plant health care techs, you don’t have to worry about finding a winter job at the end of the season. Through the winter, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills working with our team on pruning, removals and plantings.

If you’re new to the job and show a desire to learn, we will train you to be an expert in the field. If you already have experience, we will reward you for your experience and help you take it to the next level and add to any certifications you already have. And if you’re really good on the job, there are opportunities to advance your career!

Each day, you will be responsible for safe delivery of PHC services including fertilizing trees and providing other forms of preventative care, monitoring pests and controlling them with prescribed treatments. You will also be responsible for driving and operating our plant health care truck. And most importantly, you’ll be a part of an extraordinary team of individuals voted the winner of the Broomfield Gold Award for the last five years in a row and an annual NextDoor Neighborhood Favorite.

Pay depends on experience, and we offer ample opportunity to increase your wage and grow professionally through in-house and outside training that we will pay for and pay you to complete!
